Michael Kiwanuka

Its not everyday that you hear Bill Withers, Van Morrison & The Temptations sing at the same time. It just would not be possible to hear the these voices come together. Or is it? British retro soul is finally breathing again thanks to the vintage voice of Michael Kiwanuka. His album has a strength in sound that spreads sulphuric soul throughout the album.

The EP, called ‘Tell Me A Tale’, will be released on 13th June through Communion Records and In case you have not heard it yet you can stream the title track below:

Ronika

Who thought slithers of Electropop could hail from a bedroom in........... Nottingham!?
Looking like a candy pop queen she brings a bag of mixtures allsorts including sugared electro techno pop beats with sweet synthetic lyrics.
With strong influences from Gwen Stefani and Madonna late-period disco, electro-funk and synth-pop swim throughout her album the 80's sound is definatly pushing to make a comeback.
Her EP do or die/paper scissors and stone is now available to buy now on iTunes. This literally is un-studied cool.
