HTDW

How To Dress Well create compelling thought provoking music. The experimental manner in which Tom Krell composes his music is interesting, it's captivating. It somewhat transcends your listening experience and takes you on an auditory adventure.

If Roald Amundsen had an iPod in his inventory, during his heroic exploratory voyage across the cold desolate landscape of the Antarctic, How To Dress Well is the soundtrack that would linger in his soul.

Love Remains is the debut album due out September

Which Coast?

East, West how about Best Coast?

Well they are a charming reminder of 60's Californian 'surf pop', you remember The Beach Boys? The Everly Brothers?

Lead singer Bethany Cosentino, the girl with the kaleidoscope eyes, has a lot to do with why Best Coast sound so enjoyable, she has a sweet sunshine orange juice tone and hits notes with wonderful clarity. Combine this with bubblegum melodies and vivid choruses it's easy to imagine yourself cruising along the Pacific Coast Highway...

Great band!

For-mi-daaaable

The Joy Formidable, the latter word of the bands name could be pronounced in a french accent as their sound as formidable as it is, is quite magnifique a synonym of the adjective in question.

Their music is soaring and emotive with Gothic layers and doses of post-punk, Joy Division meets Arcade Fire who then bump into the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and the outcome is a 3 piece indie brit pop outfit named the Joy Formidable.
